Gothenburg is a lovely big city in Sweden to shop in with five hundred shops within five minutes’ walk.
At the center you will find a good mix of department stores, design and vintage stores as well as a lot of nice little shops in the pedestrian streets.
Nice towns like Haga and Linnaeus city frame the Kungsportsavenyn Boulevard perfectly with the true charming and provincial atmosphere.
In the streets around the King’s Gate, there is an abundance of exclusive fashion stores and art galleries.
A good tip: Make a short visit to the Röhsska Museum on Vasagatan when heading towards the Haga district. The permanent exhibition in Sweden’s only design museum takes you on a colorful and nostalgic journey through the furniture, textiles, glass and industrial designs of the period from 1851 until today.

If you want to explore the romance of the Swedish history, you can find several of castles south and north from the capital, Stockholm.
Mighty castles, stately castles and elegant manor houses. Hundreds of the beautiful buildings have sprung into the Swedish countryside, where the soil is fertile and brings wealth.
Some have been there since the Middle Ages, but most were built after 1648.
But you can even find more castles and manor houses in Skåne.
Here you will find several examples of other building styles, renaissance against baroque and rococo.
Several mansions and castles have been transformed into hotels and training centers, and others are open to the public with tours, exhibitions and restaurants.
